Mount Lemmon Ski Valley
Mount Lemmon Ski Valley is one hour drive east of Tucson, in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Ski-equipment rentals, a restaurant and a snack bar are located on-site. The ski hill is usually open from mid-December to mid-April.

The ski area is amid the pine-topped lava flows of an extinct volcano in Arizona's San Francisco Peaks. The hill features scenic trails, a 2300 foot vertical drop and an array of challenging runs for both downhill and cross country skiing.
