    Land of the Pioneers Trail #629
    The Land of the Pioneers Trail passes through portions of ponderosa pine forests and provides scenic views from the top of Ecks Mountain. A short cut trail is also available, bypassing Ecks Mountain. The degree of difficulty is moderate for hikers. A higher level of skill is necessary for mountain bikers and equestrians. Access: From Pinetop-Lakeside, take AZ 260 and head north west into FR 224. Then travel west on FR5 and the trail is on the right hand side, approximately 0.6 miles.

    Panorama/Timber Sawmill 636A and 636B
    This four mile trail crosses the top of the Timber Mesa, one to the north and one to the south. The Flume Connector, names for the flume, or pipe, which carries irrigation water is visible on the south side of the trail. Access: From the Pinetop-Lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AR 260 and turn left onto Porter Mountain Road.

    Los Burros Trail #631
    This 13 mile trail requires moderate skills for mountain bikers, hikers and equestrians. Passing through both aspen groves and ponderosa pine, the Los Burros Trail offers many opportunities for observing area nature and animals. Access: From Pinetop-Lakeside, travel south on AR 260 to McNary. Continue eight miles north on Forest Road 224 to the Los Burris Campground. The trailhead is located at the far end of campground.

    Panorama Trail #635
    With moderate conditions for hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers, eight miles of trail is available. The Panorama trail passes through a portion of the Woolhouse Wildlife Habitat Area. Two connector trails to the Timber Mesa Trail is also available. Access: From the Pinetop-Lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AR 260 and turn left into Porter Mountain. Approximately 6 miles up, turn left at the end of the pavement. The trailhead parking lot is approximately 75 feet from here.

    Country Club/Los Burros 631 A
    This trail presents 6.5 miles of moderate conditions for hiking, mountain biking and equestrian use. Connecting the Los Burros and Country Club trails, this trail offers views of the Brushy Mountain and several drainage areas. Access: From the Lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AZ 260. Turn left at Bucksprings Road and again onto FR182. This trail is two miles ahead on the right at the junction of FR 185.

    Timber Mesa Trail #636
    This six mile trail follows the top edge of the mesas along Chimneys Fire Road. Two connector trails are available heading east to the Panorama Trail. This trail offers difficult terrain for Mountain Bikers and moderate conditions for hikers and equestrians. Access: From the Pinetop-Lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AR 260and turn left at the Porter Mountain Road. Travel east for approximately 2.2 miles and turn left at the cattle guard.

    Camp Beale Loop
    The Camp Beale Loop is a trail in the Cerbat mountain range near Kingman. Camp Beale Loop is 3.2 miles and has a 500-foot elevation gain. The trail is ideal for hikers or mountain bikers. Access: West side of Fort Beale Drive. Access to the trail head is via a dirt road that parallels the “Black Mesa Coal Slurry Line.”

    Springs/Country Club 632A
    This 1.3 mile trail connects both the Country Club and the Springs Trail. Caution should be taken as the trail is somewhat rocky. Conditions are easy for hiking, mountain biking and for equestrian use. Access: From the Pinetop-Lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AZ 260. Turn left at Bucksprings Road and left again onto FR182.COntinue to junction FR 185 and turn right onto the trailhead.

    Springs Trail #633
    The Springs Trail offers 3.8 miles along both Billy Creek and Thompson Creek riparian areas. Caution should be taken during the spring as the trail can become very muddy. Hikers and equestrians will find easy trail conditions. More moderate terrain is available for mountain bikers. Access: From the Pinetop-Lakeside Ranger Station, travel straight on AZ 260 and turn left at Bucksprings Road. Approximately .5 miles north, turn right onto Forest Road 182 and again right onto Forest Road 185. The trailhead is located 1.1 miles ahead.

    Country Club Trail #632
    The Country Club Trail offers a 3.5 mile loop which is easy for equestrians and moderate for both hikers and mountain bikers. The trail follows along portions of an old railroad bed line, originally used for transporting timber products. Access: From Pintop-Lakeside, travel south on AR 260 and turn left at Bucksprings Road. Continue for .5 miles and then left on Forest Road 182. Then turn right onto Forest Road approximately 2 miles up.

    Ice Cave Trail #608
    This trail boarders Porter Creek and the south side of the Scott Reservior before connecting to the Blue Ridge Trail. The Ice Cave, fenced off due to preservation efforts, is located midway along the trail. The trail has moderate hiking and equestrian conditions and requires difficult mountain biking skills. Access: From the lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AZ 260and turn left on Porter Mountain Road. Travel for approximately one mile, and the trail is on the right hand side.

    Badger Trail
    The Badger Trail is 3.75 miles long and has an elevation gain of 1200 feet. Known as a challenging hiking and mountain biking trail, the Badger cuts across major slide slopes and ends at Castle Rock where huge boulders are found high on a ridge overlooking the Sacramento Valley. Access: Starting at Kingman on Interstate 40, head northwest on highway 93 towards Las Vegas.     Access: In Phoenix follow 44th St. North, which becomes McDonald. Follow McDonald to Echo Canyon Place, which is the first right past Tatum. Turn right and go up the hill to the tiny lot.

    White House Ruin Trail
    View one of the famous ancient cliff dwellings of the Anasazi after hiking down Canyon de Chelly. Access: Take South Rim Drive for 5.7 miles (9.2 kilometers) from the Canyon de Chelly National Monument visitor center, then turn left and travel 0.7 mile (1.1 kilometers) to the White House Overlook. The trailhead is to the right when facing the canyon.

    Blue Ridge Trail #107
    Blue Ridge Trail #107 offers moderate hiking and equestrian conditions and difficult mountain biking terrain. Following Billy Creek, this trail passes through a ponderosa pine forest to the top of Blue Ridge Mountain which is volcanic in origin. Connector trails are available to the Springs Trail and the Ice Cave Trail. Access: From Pinetop-Lakeside, head south on AZ 260 and east onto Bucksprings Road. Then travel north on FR 182 and west on FR187 to Trailhead #2. Continue on FR 187 to reach Trailhead #1.
